Custom Orders Policy
1. Overview
NYXNOOR JEWELRY offers custom and made-to-order jewelry created according to the customer’s selected design, gemstone, metal, size, finish, engraving, and other approved specifications.
2. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing and confirming all order details before production begins, including:
- Ring size
- Metal type and metal color
- Gemstone type, shape, size, and color preference
- Surface finish, including polished or brushed finish
- Engraving text, spelling, capitalization, and placement
- Design proportions and approved customization details
- Shipping and contact information
NYXNOOR JEWELRY is not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect, incomplete, or customer-approved information.
3. Natural Gemstone Variations
Natural gemstones are unique. Variations in color, pattern, transparency, inclusions, texture, shape, and internal characteristics are expected.
Moss agate, moonstone, opal, salt and pepper diamond, rutilated quartz, and other natural stones may vary significantly from photographs or previously completed jewelry.
These natural variations are not considered manufacturing defects.
4. Design Approval
Where sketches, CAD images, gemstone photographs, dimensions, or design references are provided, the customer is responsible for reviewing them carefully.
Approval confirms acceptance of the visible design, dimensions, proportions, gemstone, setting, and customization details.
Minor differences may occur between digital previews and the completed handcrafted jewelry.
5. Changes After Production Begins
Once materials have been ordered, gemstones prepared, CAD work completed, or production has begun, changes may not be possible.
Approved changes may require additional payment and may extend the production timeline. Major design changes may require cancellation of the original project and creation of a new order.
6. Cancellations
Custom-order cancellation requests must be submitted within 24 hours of purchase. Cancellation is not guaranteed if sourcing, design work, gemstone preparation, or production has already begun.
Approved cancellations may be reduced by non-recoverable costs, including design fees, gemstone sourcing, customized materials, labor, and payment processing fees where legally permitted.
7. Returns & Refunds
Custom, personalized, engraved, resized, and made-to-order jewelry is generally non-returnable and non-refundable because it is produced specifically for the customer.
Returns or refunds are not provided because of:
- Incorrect ring size selected by the customer
- Changes in personal preference
- Changes in gemstone, metal, finish, or design preference
- Natural gemstone characteristics
- Minor handmade variations
- Differences caused by screen settings, lighting, or photography
- Failure to review or understand approved order details
8. Ring Sizing
Customers should obtain an accurate professional ring-size measurement before ordering.
Ring fit may vary depending on band width, finger shape, temperature, swelling, measuring method, and regional sizing standards.
Incorrect ring sizing selected or provided by the customer is not a manufacturing defect. Resizing may be available for an additional fee, depending on the design and construction.
9. 1-Year Limited Warranty
Custom, personalized, and made-to-order jewelry is covered by our 1-Year Limited Warranty against eligible manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
The warranty does not cover:
- Incorrect ring size or measurements provided by the customer
- Changes in design, gemstone, metal, finish, or personal preference
- Natural gemstone variations
- Normal wear, scratches, dents, bending, or deformation
- Accidental damage, impact, pressure, or improper use
- Gemstone damage caused by wear or impact
- Repairs or alterations performed by another jeweler
- Loss or theft
- Fading of blackened, oxidized, plated, or specially treated finishes
Approval of a warranty claim does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund, cancellation, redesign, or full replacement.
10. Blackened & Special Finishes
Blackened, oxidized, plated, antiqued, and other specially treated finishes may gradually fade, polish, or change through friction, chemicals, moisture, and normal use.
These changes are considered normal wear and are not manufacturing defects.
11. Production Time
Custom-order production time is an estimate. Complex designs, gemstone sourcing, customer revisions, material availability, and quality inspections may extend the completion date.
12. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
